From *orangeish : To the person who had been questioning the occurrence of this shoot during the Typhoon Ondoy, will you please allow me to explain. We had this shoot planned days before Ondoy hit. The terror typhoon came as a surprise. While we were going about the shoot, we were stuck inside our house and we didn't really have any news yet about what was going on outside. So for those who thought we were "camwhoring" while people outside were suffering, no. We were "camwhoring" before any news of how grave the situation was ever came up. We were "camwhoring" because we were STUCK AT HOME. What did you want us to do? Go out and help while it was happening? Out in the rain? Without knowing what to do and who to help? LOL. Think about it, ~catgirlshyla. Besides, we did some volunteer work a few days after. When it was actually SAFE to do so.
So this song was ur inspiration? Thats really cool, I always remember this song as very brooding and sad; I like your perspective, its really unique and a beautiful idea~ <3
No. Alodia, honestly, nothing personal. But if this was inspired by Sound Garden:
BUT THAT IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE SONGS AND I SING IT IN KARAOKE!!! IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE BEAUTIFUL IN THAT SENSE, IT'S NOT SUPPOSED TO BE GLAMORIZED!!!
You could have aimed for a more HellRaiser type of look, or something gritty, scratty, or grotesque at least, it's grunge! Not something shiny or Lady Gaga-esque(she's cool, btw). Of course, these days, people like to play around with concepts and revamp established ones, but it doesn't work in all cases.
PS- I don't care if I'll anger a lot of people, but, it's just out of place- in my opinion.
No offense. the detail is lovely, the shots are great! But the concept is lacking and somewhat far. If your intention was death, gloom, and end of days.
and your totally beautiful!!
